Over the past week, the number of available beds at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay has risen from 20 to 29. Currently, 124 beds are filled, out of 153 available.

Ascension Sacred Heart Bay indicated that it currently has a max ICU capacity of 36 patients. Currently 31 patients are in the ICU: 31 adults and 0 children.

The number of patients a hospital can handle changes based on staffing. Hospitals can also expand in times of crisis. Since April 3, Ascension Sacred Heart Bay's max ICU capacity has increased 12.5 percent, from 32 to 36. Their total beds have increased 51.5 percent from 101 to 153.
