Over the past week, the number of available beds at Bethesda Hospital East has fallen from 147 to 145. Currently, 247 beds are filled, out of 392 available.

Bethesda Hospital East indicated that it currently has a max ICU capacity of 45 patients. Currently 26 patients are in the ICU: 26 adults and 0 children.

The number of patients a hospital can handle changes based on staffing. Hospitals can also expand in times of crisis. Since April 3, Bethesda Hospital East's max ICU capacity has increased 2.3 percent, from 44 to 45. Their total beds have decreased 13.7 percent from 454 to 392.
