The number of patients a hospital can handle changes based on staffing. Hospitals can also expand in times of crisis. Since April 3, Flagler Hospital's max ICU capacity has increased 10.0 percent, from 40 to 44. Their total beds have decreased 3.2 percent from 343 to 332.
