Over the past week, the number of available beds at Tampa General Hospital has fallen from 162 to 152. Currently, 947 beds are filled, out of 1,099 available.

Tampa General Hospital indicated that it currently has a max ICU capacity of 103 patients. Currently 101 patients are in the ICU: 96 adults and 5 children.

The number of patients a hospital can handle changes based on staffing. Hospitals can also expand in times of crisis. Since April 3, Tampa General Hospital's max ICU capacity has decreased 43.7 percent, from 183 to 103. Their total beds have decreased 4.7 percent from 1,153 to 1,099.
