Deputies were called to a home invasion in progress around 10 p.m.

Jamar Anderson, 24, jumped into a running car outside the home. Deputy Eric Bethel said he fired one shot when Anderson dropped his hands and drove toward deputies. Anderson, hit in the neck, died at the scene. Two other suspects escaped. Read more
