Nov. 4, 2013 — Miami Gardens

Robert Desir was suspected of shooting and killing his stepfather earlier in the day.

When Desir, 23, returned to the home around 4 p.m., police attempted to arrest him.

Desir disobeyed commands and rushed toward them firing a handgun, officials said. Read more
