June 29, 2013 — Miami

At about 9 p.m., police were summoned to a dispute at a home, where an officer confronted Marcial Martinez-Ramirez.

As Martinez-Ramirez, 62, was being walked to a patrol car for an interview, he lunged at an officer with a knife. Another officer, Daniel Bernatt, fired, killing him.
