June 16, 2013 — Orlando

Deputy Ronald Barba shot and killed 54-year-old Eric W. Dunphy when deputies responded to the Fairway Mobile Home Park at about 6:30 p.m.

Dunphy's wife had called 911 to report a domestic disturbance. When the deputies arrived, the woman was in front of the trailer home. Dunphy emerged and dragged the woman inside.

Once inside, he held an unknown weapon to her head and threatened to stab her. Barba shot and killed Dunphy. Read more
