Dec. 22, 2011 — Tampa

Around 7 p.m., Officer Usilia Emilione and a trainee went to a home in East Tampa to check on a call about an erratic man.

Emilione saw Lawrence Anderson, 51, slashing a pillow and waving a knife. Anderson's parents and Emilione told him to drop the knife.
